Daniel Parsignault and Mary Lou talk about the major sites around Afghanistan. Viewers see some of Bigelow’s Super-8 film taken in 1968 to 1972. Some footage includes Buzkashi (polo with a headless goat), John Frankenheimer filming The Horseman and a flight through the valley to see the Buddhas of Bamiyan Valley, destroyed in March 2001 by the Taliban.
